Library is the nerve centre of any educational institution. It is a source of learning for higher education and expansion of knowledge. It is an essential pre-requisite for successful implementation of quality higher education programmes in the college. Kalyani Mahavidyalaya Library (KML) was set up in the year 2002. It was formerly situated in the first floor covering an area of 2500 sq.ft. area. It was then shifted to a bigger area on the ground floor of the college’s left wing. At present it occupies about 3168 sq.ft. area and can accommodate about 80 students at a time. The library initially began with just 1000 books growing rapidly to a collection of 19,000 plus at present. The library of Kalyani Mahavidyalaya aims to support the teaching-learning activity in the college and to ensure the optimum utilization of the available resources.
