Functions of the Internal Examination Committee:

1. Planning and Scheduling:

   - Develop the internal examination calendar in coordination with academic departments.

   - Ensure that the examination dates do not clash with other academic or extracurricular activities.

2. Preparation of Examination Materials:

   - Oversee the preparation of question papers, ensuring they align with the syllabus and learning outcomes.

   - Maintain confidentiality and security of examination materials.

3. Coordination with Faculty:

   - Communicate examination schedules and guidelines to faculty members.

   - Ensure faculty adhere to the deadlines for submitting question papers and grading exams.

4. Conduct of Examinations:

   - Arrange venues and invigilation schedules.

   - Ensure proper conduct during examinations, addressing any issues that arise.

5. Evaluation and Result Compilation:

   - Supervise the evaluation process, ensuring consistency and fairness.

   - Compile and verify examination results before publication.

6. Addressing Grievances:

   - Handle student grievances related to internal assessments.

Structure of the Internal Examination Committee:


1. Convenor and Jt. Convenor:

   - Typically a senior faculty member.

   - Responsible for overall supervision and decision-making.

2. Members:

   - Faculty representatives from different departments.

   - Examination officer or coordinator.

3. Administrative Support:

   - Staff members who assist with logistical and administrative tasks related to examinations.
