Infrastructure Up gradation & Maintenance Sub- Committee

The Campus Development Committee (CDC) plays a crucial role in the growth and enhancement of the campus environment. The functions and responsibilities of a CDC are as follows:

1.   Infrastructure Development:

   - Planning and overseeing the construction of new buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities.

   - Renovation and maintenance of existing structures to ensure they meet current standards and needs.

2.   Campus Planning:

   - Developing a master plan for the campus, which includes future expansions, landscaping, and utilization of space.

   - Ensuring that the campus layout promotes an optimal learning and living environment.

3.   Resource Management:

   - Efficiently managing resources such as water, electricity, and other utilities.

   - Implementing sustainable practices to reduce the environmental footprint of the campus.

4.   Safety and Accessibility:

   - Ensuring that all campus facilities are safe and accessible to all students, including those with     disabilities.

   - Implementing safety protocols and emergency response plans.

5.   Technological Upgradation:

   - Integrating modern technology into campus facilities, including smart classrooms, high-speed internet, and digital libraries.

   - Keeping the campus infrastructure updated with the latest advancements in educational technology.

6.   Green Initiatives:

   - Promoting eco-friendly practices such as waste management, recycling, and the use of renewable energy sources.

   - Developing green spaces, gardens, and promoting biodiversity on campus.

7.   Student and Faculty Involvement:

   - Engaging students and faculty in the planning and development process through committees and feedback mechanisms.

   - Organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions to involve the campus community in development initiatives.

8.   Funding and Budgeting:

   - Securing funding for development projects through grants, donations, and partnerships with external organizations.

   - Efficiently managing the budget allocated for campus development to ensure maximum utilization of funds.

9.   Compliance and Standards:

   - Ensuring all development projects comply with local, state, and national regulations and standards.

   - Regularly updating policies and practices to meet the evolving needs of the college community.
