Department of Sanskrit

The Department of Sanskrit proves itself as one of the leading departments since the very inception of Kalyani Mahavidyalaya. It was initiated primarily as a teaching department for general course in 2014 and later it received affiliation to teach honours course in 2023. A good number of books relating to sanskrit are available for the students in our central library.

 The department has a mission to develop students for academic studies in sanskrit and also to promote interest in discipline of sanskrit.
