Education department of Kalyani Mahavidyalaya has completed a difficult but eventful journey of 12 years. This department had a very humble starting with a small number of students to achieve the noble vision of fostering a spirit of freedom, self efficiency, indomitable sprite and lofty idealism among students. As education is a multi-disciplinary subject, so the department focuses on teaching about different subject matter like- Educational Philosophy, Educational Psychology, Educational sociology, Educational Technology, Educational administration etc. Near about 331 students of Part- I, II, &III are our strength and hope of development.
Our mision is to provide quality education by implementing healthy educational environment, values, self-efficacy, self-motivation, awareness, social responsibility, discipline, communal harmony and cultural integration. The faculty members are trying to obtain this goal.
Our faculty members are so dedicated and they are always trying to gather new and authentic knowledge from wide educational field. They regularly take part in national and international seminar, conferences and additional courses.
Our curriculum is updated for preparing qualified man-power to fit learners in contemporary world of Education. And we have a enrich college library and departmental library as a supportive parts of curriculum.
