Microbiology
Vision:
The Department of Microbiology was established as enhanced fees course in the year 2003 with an aim to produce microbiologist to work in both academic and industrial fields by pursuing their higher studies. Microbiology is an inter disciplinary science with much scope in future. The main objective of starting this department is to cater the needs of students to develop passion for the subject so that they become the most needed manpower in the various fields of microbiology to meet the increasing demand in the state in particular and globally at large.

- As a part of our social mission, we are offering free consultancy services to the farming community, in identifying the causal organism and suggesting the control measures to manage the plant diseases and using bio pesticides and bio fertilizers for better yield.
- Develop an orientation towards the national and global needs as responsible citizen by arising awareness among all regarding health and hygine.
- Excellent academic programme, involvement of students in day to day management for specific duties and adequate freedom to students, all provide excellent means to follow our mission.
